Middenspits is the peak (20 700E, 9 400N) on this ridge.]
Note on 1936 Indonesian glaciers: Photographs from the 1936 Colijn Expedition. Aerial photographs taken sometime between May and August 1936 with a Fairchild aerial camera with a 30cm focal length lens. Terrestrial photographs taken between late November and early December 1936. The positions from which terrestrial photographs were taken are identified on the accompanying map (by J.J. Dozy) resulting from the expedition. Positions are also marked (and given as coordinates) on the CGE map. All 1936 photographs in this collection were provided by Professor J.J. Dozy, Technical University of Delft, Netherlands. Terrestrial photographs are from the original negatives; aerial photographs are copy prints.
